Recovery Operatives

We are always on the look out for responsible recovery operatives within the Colne, Skipton, Blackpool and Carnforth areas.

You will be working on behalf of the major motoring organisations in the U.K such as the A.A, RAC and Green Flag in addition to acting in a support role to the emergency services, recovering vehicles involved in accidents and from the scenes of crimes.

You will recovery vehicles rescuing broken down or accident damaged vehicles from the roadside.  You will also be responsible for the safety and well being of the vehicle occupants whilst transporting them to a required destination.  Your job is as much about customer care as it is about driving.

Applicants should be reliable, presentable, be of good character and stable personality.  You should get on with others in a team as well as work alone and under pressure in difficult traffic conditions.  A clean driving license is also preferred.

Ongoing training and support is important to your success however applicants will already be in possession of a C1+ E UK driving license and have some experience of driving.

Recovery operatives are required to work in a roadside environment that can be quite hostile and dangerous in places.  You will also spend a considerable time driving to destinations.  Recovery Operatives work in shifts of 4 days on 4 days off.
